MacAddict Receives Double Nomination For Maggie Awards' Best Consumer Computer Mag Top Honor

Publication Recognized For Excellence In Three Categories
South San Francisco, CA (March 14, 2006) – It’s dual MacAddiction! Future US’s MacAddict has been acknowledged by the 2006 Maggie Awards with two nominations for its August and October issues in the Best Consumer Computer Magazine category, the top honor for a computer publication.
The Maggie Awards are presented annually by Western Publications Association and salute distinction in magazine and electronic publishing in the West.
In addition to the double nomination, MacAddict has also been selected as a finalist in the categories Best Feature Article for May’s “Untwist Your Wrist” and Best Color Editorial Layout for September’s “4th Annual MacAddict Geek Quiz.”
The 2006 nominations attest to MacAddict’s tradition of excellence as the publication won the Maggie Award for Best Consumer Computer Magazine award in 2003 and 2004, plus the Best How-To Article in 2003 for "50 Biggest Mac OS X Bugs." MacAddict has also been recognized in the past with the 2001 Folio Award for Editorial Excellence and with the 2000 Computer Press Association Award for Best Overall Magazine.
