Pregnancy appoints Jim Schiekofer as Publisher

Readers Digest veteran to lead growth of market-leading maternity magazine
New York, NY (July 12, 2007) – Pregnancy, Future US’s market-leading magazine for first-time moms, announced today that Jim Schiekofer has been named to the role of Publisher, according to President Jonathan Simpson-Bint. Schiekofer will be based in Future’s New York office.

Jim Schiekofer was previously the Group Publisher at Reader’s Digest, where he helped reposition The Home & Garden Group including The Family Handyman, before joining Future US as Executive Director of Integrated Sales & Marketing. Prior to RD, Jim was Publisher of Gear and helped launch USA TODAY Baseball Weekly as its National Ad Director.
